I want to write my feelings down,
but I don’t know what to say.
I cannot express what I now feel
because …..I have lost my way
Again, I opened my heart to you,
and allowed my mind to drift away,
I went back to you and another time
to what I thought was a wonderful day.
You walked back into my life again
and you opened up my heart.
This time you held it close to you
you said, so we would never again part.
Loving you is the greatest joy
I think I have ever known;
so freely I gave to you my heart,
it belonged to you and you alone.
Only the pain of love came to me again
this love was true I was told…
Never had I loved with all my heart before,
but your heart became stone cold.
I tried once more to find true love
I know I chose the wrong heart
Loving you forever I thought I wanted
but you knew that we would part.
I thought you were the love of my life,
who would make all my dreams come true.
But I was mistaken….. again this time,
and again……I lost you.
